Maternal Health Project
Cambodia 2016

In 2016, an ASHA team visited the Kindred House in Cambodia to deliver a maternal health educational program.

This involved educating community healthcare workers about a number of issues including breastfeeding, perinatal infections and post-partum haemorrhage.

Delhi Heart Project
2017

In collaboration with the Child Heart Foundation in New Delhi, India, ASHA fundraised $4,000 for life-saving surgery for a 2-year-old boy named Vineet with Tetralogy of Fallot – a serious congenital heart condition.

Sri Lanka Orphanage Project
Polonnaruwa 2015-2017

ASHA visited the Polonnaruwa site in Sri Lanka and volunteered with two local girls’ orphanages, where our team worked to improve the education and residential facilities. 

ASHA also conducted healthcare education classes, aiming to provide local staff with knowledge about key paediatric issues.
