ASHA’s fundraising efforts in Melbourne are directed through our University of Melbourne student club. We have been proudly affiliated with the University of Melbourne Student Union (UMSU) since 2012.
Our team runs a number of regular social events throughout the year including:
– Cocktail Nights
– Futsal Tournaments
– Paint & Glow Parties
– Trivia Nights
We have also run a number of events in collaboration with other organisations including the Biomedical Engineering Society, Bollywood Club, Frasers GAMSAT Tutoring and the Melbourne University Sri Lankan Club.

Mother’s Day Dinner
Melbourne has also hosted several Mother’s Day Dinners. Our 2017 & 2018 events, run in collaboration with the Overseas Medical Graduate Association (OMGA), had over 150 attendees, raising over $1,500 for our maternal health projects. The event was sponsored by several organisations including HKS Photography and Enigmatic Entertainment, and featured local talents!
